I think we can all agree that January is known for feeling a little bit dreary. Christmas is over and done with and everyone is getting back into their daily routines, packing away all of the bright decorations. I don’t know about anyone else but I can’t help wishing that we were still enjoying the happy holidays, sitting on the sofa indulging in amazing foods rather than trying to stick to my January diet and dragging myself to the gym. Recently, I’ve been working alongside Panasonic again on another blog post – last time, I reviewed some of my favourite…

Since working as an administrator for over a year now, I’ve come to learn all about the many quirks and experiences of working in an office environment. From fights over air-conditioning to ‘replying all’ with an embarrassing email, these are some of the things I’ve come across. 1. Nobody will ever agree on a satisfactory temperature. In our office, half the people seem to complain about it being ‘like a sauna’ whereas the other half are all complaining that their hands are numb because it’s that cold. Some people will happily whack the heating on full blast and others demand…

I’m not usually one for making new year’s resolutions as such because I think if you want to do something, why wait until a new year to do it? You could start at any time, not just in a new year! However, I do understand that feeling of wanting to start a fresh page and I have got a couple of goals that I want work harder on. I’ve started things over the past couple of months that I haven’t necessarily stuck to or fully committed myself to so it’s more about focusing harder on these things in the future.…

Christmas has only just left us but in the back of my mind, I know that New Year’s Eve is quickly creeping up. I don’t know about anybody else but if I’m ever doing anything for New Year’s Eve, I’m always in a flap about what to wear. I’m so focused on Christmas that I end up leaving it until the last minute and then worrying I’ll have to just wrap myself up in leftover wrapping paper. I decided to put a board together of some clothing items I’m loving the look of for New Year’s Eve. I hope this…

I’ve been so excited to post this because I’m such a massive film lover, there’s nothing I love more than getting into my pyjamas and winding down to watch a movie. I’m also a very festive person so I have a big soft spot for Christmas movies – I’m one of those people that love the Christmas 24 channel, it’s just full of cheesy movies and is the ultimate guilty pleasure. So these are some of my favourite Christmas films, let me know if you’ve seen and love the same ones as me! The Nightmare Before Christmas Of course, in…

Secret Santa is such a fun thing to do at Christmas time! It works so well if you’ve got a big family or a large group of friends; it makes it way less of a hassle and expense trying to get everyone something, meaning you can put all of your focus into buying for one person instead. This year has been a pretty fabulous year because I’ve made some really amazing friends through blogging – we like to call ourselves Blogger Babes. We decided that we should organise our own Secret Santa! As we’ve only been friends for a few…

My eyebrows are something that I’ve had various nightmares with over the years. It all started with extreme over-plucking because I was worrying about them being too thick and busy when I was at school. I needn’t have bothered, it’s the trend now! I’ve since managed to grow my eyebrows back out and shape them a little better into something I’m happy with. However, there’s still the ordeal of plucking away the little stray hairs that appear in places I don’t want them to be. I could just let my eyebrows be natural but I always find myself going back…
