My Favourite Christmas Movies

I’ve been so excited to post this because I’m such a massive film lover, there’s nothing I love more than getting into my pyjamas and winding down to watch a movie. I’m also a very festive person so I have a big soft spot for Christmas movies – I’m one of those people that love the Christmas 24 channel, it’s just full of cheesy movies and is the ultimate guilty pleasure. So these are some of my favourite Christmas films, let me know if you’ve seen and love the same ones as me! The Nightmare Before Christmas Of course, in…

The Christmas Tag!

Happy Blogmas, everyone! I’ve been so excited to get the ball rolling on Blogmas as it’s going to be my first ever one. It’s crazy to think that it hasn’t even been a year yet since I’ve started blogging as it just feels like a way of life now. I absolutely loved taking part in Blogtober and seeing as Christmas is my favourite time of year, it wouldn’t have felt right to not do Blogmas as well. As with Blogtober, I’m going to be doing two posts a week rather than posting daily so not a full-blown Blogmas; I work…

My Top 10 Halloween Movies

I thought this would be a very apt post for the lead up to the big day of Halloween because one thing I really love to do either on actual Halloween or in the lead up to it is have a scary movie marathon. I thought I’d share my top ten favourite scary films with you as I’m a massive lover of them. Some of these are not really that scary at all but they’re all perfect to watch on Halloween. I’ve watched SO many, it was actually really hard to filter it down to just ten but these are…

Spooky Superstitions

I’m probably one of the least superstitious people ever – however, I do find it pretty interesting to read about what other people believe in and how they shape their lives around superstitions and “old wives tales.” I thought this would tie in nicely as Halloween is on its way and some of these superstitions can really be quite daunting and creepy. Superstitions can really play with peoples’ brains; I remember when I was little and I broke a mirror, I was really upset and worried because I’d been taught to believe you’d get seven years bad luck for doing…

All Things Astrology

I’m sure a lot of us have read our horoscope predictions in the little sections in magazines – some of them can be spookily accurate! I’ve been reading up about Zodiac signs recently and I thought it would be interesting to analyse some typical traits of my own star sign to see whether it proves accurate to my personality. I have found that a lot of these magazine predictions seem to be very broad and could apply to anyone so I wanted to delve into some of the more in depth descriptions. I mean absolutely no disrespect to anyone who…

What’s Your Biggest Fear?

As Halloween is approaching soon and all things spooky are starting to appear, I thought I’d do a post all about fears and phobias. There are some fears I’ve overcome and some things that still make me cower into a corner. There are things that people are afraid of that I just can’t understand and things that make me sweat with fear that seem really stupid to others. I always find it really interesting to know what different things people are scared of. Cotton Wool Yes, you read that correctly – cotton wool. This is actually something that doesn’t really…

What Blogtober Means for Me

My favourite season has arrived and although I’m obviously beyond excited for all the chai lattes, crunchy leaves, crisp mornings and huge jumpers, this is also a really exciting step for me blogging wise. This will be my first ever Blogtober! I’ve only been blogging for a few months and I’ve never stuck to any strict rules with myself on how often or when to post. I work full time so it’s really tricky to balance work with producing consistent content sometimes, especially if you have absolutely no decent time management skills like me – just being honest. So this…
