*AD: I was financially imbursed for this post.
I currently live in a rented house share and I have done for around eight months now. I have a lovely en suite bathroom that I don’t have to share with anyone else which is amazing, but the one thing I do sometimes miss is a bath as I only have a shower. If I’m honest, I wasn’t a massive bath fan beforehand anyway but I did enjoy a soak every so often to wind down. The main thing that makes me miss having baths are all of the lovely smelling products you can get, from bath bombs to bubble baths.
Before I go on to talk about my most-missed bath products, if you are baths kind of person then WOW Free Stuff are currently hosting a giveaway where you can win a pack of Unicorn Poo Bath Bombs*. Putting poo in your bath might not sound like the most appealing thing, but unicorn poo is an entirely different scenario. These bath bombs smell amazing and make your bath all kinds of cool colours.

This is my all-time favourite bath bomb, I’m just absolutely obsessed with the smell of it. Lush discontinued this for a while but when I went to visit the Birmingham store recently, I noticed that they had started doing it again just in a different design. It used to just be a ball shape but now it’s a berry shape which is pretty cool. It still smells exactly like the Blackberry Bath Bomb I know and love and is honestly the number one thing I miss about baths. It’s a really sweet and fruity yet slightly musky smell and contains plenty of hydrating essential oils to make your skin feel super silky after a long soak.
Whenever I really needed to wind down if I was feeling anxious or on edge, this bath soak was my go-to. It contains rosemary and eucalyptus which creates a really refreshing and calming scent, perfect after a long day at work. I always had such a good night’s sleep after using some of this in a hot bath as it really helped to calm me down physically and mentally. Radox do plenty of other bath soaks as well to target different issues like muscle relief, detoxing and relaxation. These are also really affordable at around £1 a bottle and are available in pretty much all supermarkets and drugstores.
As a lover of sweet smells, this is just the perfect product for me. I was bought a bottle of this for Christmas one year and ever since then, I was hooked on it. It smells exactly like toasted marshmallows and a little goes a really long way to create lots of bubbles. It always made my skin feel really soft afterwards as well. For only £2 a bottle, this is an amazing product and will last you a really long time. The best thing about this is that they also do the scent as a shower gel so even though I can’t have baths now, I don’t have to miss out.
If I ever fancied treating myself a little bit, I would grab one of these little guys on my way home from work. They’re only £1.50 each and although they’re only little, they still pack quite a punch as the scent is still very prominent. I will say that I didn’t find these as moisturising as other bath bombs I’ve tried but they were worth it just for the yummy fruity smell. They also do these little bombs in other scents such as pink grapefruit and moringa but mango is my personal favourite.
This is another one of my all-time favourite scents; although the prices in Lush have gotten pretty steep recently, one thing I can’t argue with is that they do smells very well. This is another sweet smell so of course I love it, prominently blackcurrant and definitely makes me think of candy. It contains bergamot and cypress oil so is incredibly hydrating and you can also get it in a bubble bar version as well. They did used to do a shower gel but I don’t think they stock this anymore *sad violin music* otherwise I’d definitely be stocking up on it.
