Blogger Babes’ Secret Santa!

Secret Santa is such a fun thing to do at Christmas time! It works so well if you’ve got a big family or a large group of friends; it makes it way less of a hassle and expense trying to get everyone something, meaning you can put all of your focus into buying for one person instead. This year has been a pretty fabulous year because I’ve made some really amazing friends through blogging – we like to call ourselves Blogger Babes. We decided that we should organise our own Secret Santa! As we’ve only been friends for a few months, we only really had each others’ blogs to get inspiration from. We set the budget at £15 including postage fees – I ended up getting way too excited with ideas and went a little bit over, oops. This was such a great idea, it’s been something extra to look forward to and I’m really glad we did it. So, I thought I’d share with you what my Secret Santa sent me!

My Secret Santa decided to do a box full of little goodies which is actually what I did for the person I bought for too. I think it’s such a nice idea as you can pick a few things that you think would suit that person. My box was filled with fake snow and everything was wrapped so nicely, my Santa certainly knows how to get festive!

The first gift I opened was some fake eyelashes – I don’t usually bother with fake eyelashes as I’m rubbish at applying them but it’s something that I’ve always wanted to get good at. These are the perfect set for me as well because they’re really natural looking, I can’t wait to use them.

I was really happy about the second gift because my current beauty sponge had been coming to an end. Sponges are my go-to for applying foundation, I use them daily and swear by them so this is another perfect pick. Plus, it’s pink!

I’m so excited to try this one! One of my favourite things to do is to chill out with a face mask on so I’ll definitely get good use out of this. I opened up the tub and it smells just like blueberry jam, I almost want to eat it!

These are the cutest nail files I’ve ever seen! I absolutely love the pastel colours and polka dots, these have already made their way into my handbag as they’re the perfect size for travelling.

I do love a good candle and fruity smells are some of my favourite scents. This is one of those candles that I just can’t stop smelling because it just smells that good. I haven’t actually used this yet but the smell is really strong, I can tell it’s going to make my bedroom smell lovely.

When I initially opened my gift box, a really amazing smell came out and upon unwrapping all of the gifts, I discovered that it was these wax melts! I’m not sure exactly which scents these are but they’re all sweet smelling which is exactly my kind of thing. I can’t wait to burn these during my next pamper session.

You just can’t go wrong with chocolate and these are one of my favourites, they’ll go really well as a treat when I’m pampering myself with my new face mask.

I feel like my Secret Santa knows me very well with this choice as I absolutely love a good hot chocolate! I keep seeing these spoon stirring ones around and have been meaning to try one out so I’m really looking forward to this. I feel like all of these gifts fit really well together for the perfect self-care evening.

I really love this last gift because I’ve been in need of a little notebook. This will be really useful for scribbling down notes for blog posts and writing down to-do lists so that I can at least attempt to get a bit more organised. I’m also loving the design!

Thank you so, so much to my Secret Santa, this was such a perfect little package to receive and I can’t wait to use everything. I love all of my Blogger Babes so much, hopefully 2018 will be the year that we all get to finally meet each other!

Your secret Santa definitely knows you here which is great if they’ve managed to pick up everything here just through your blog! That’s great I definitely would have loved to take part in a Blogger’s Secret Santa maybe next year

Great picks! We did Secret Santa this year for Christmas in my family and it was a hit! So much easier to shop for one person instead of 10.
