I’m a little late to the game again as I’m posting last month’s box in December. In my defense though, my December box hasn’t arrived yet so I’ve managed to just about squeeze into the time frame before the next one comes along. Again, I’ve been so focused on Blogmas that my monthly beauty box subscription took a bit of a back seat again. However, it’s something that I always love to write about when I do get around to it. Look Incredible is a beauty box subscription service that costs £25 a month for a regular box or £35 for a deluxe box. I buy the £25 boxes and I receive five high-end, full-sized products every month – everything always totals to way more than the £25 mark. Here’s what I got in November’s box.
I was really excited to receive a Too Faced product because although I can never justify spending the money on high end brands, Too Faced do have some amazing looking products. These boxes are such a great way to try out higher end products as you get five items for the price of probably one. I’ve been using this lipgloss SO much since I received it, it’s such a great everyday colour. I’m not usually a gloss person but this is really comfortable on my lips without being too sticky. It also has really great lasting power, I’d definitely consider buying this product in other shades as it’s such a good formula.
I’ve had a couple of Coastal Scents palettes in previous boxes and I absolutely love them so I was really happy to get another one. I love how this is seasonally themed and I’ve been reaching for this palette a lot. I honestly think these eyeshadow palettes are so underrated, they’re really affordable and have great pigmentation. I’d definitely recommend this brand, plus the palettes are magnetised so you can customise it by taking out shades and adding different ones in. This is super good for travelling as well as it’s not too bulky.
This eyeliner came at the perfect time as I ended up using it in one of my Winter make-up looks. This shade is absolutely stunning and SO pigmented. I often find that pencil eyeliners can be difficult to apply to my waterline but this was really easy to use. This is great for adding a little pop of colour to your make-up and it doesn’t budge all day. Again, I wouldn’t usually spend this much money on one eyeliner so it’s great to be able to try out a YSL product through being subscribed to Look Incredible.
Another Too Faced product?! I’ll admit that at first I was sceptical about this one just because I’m very faithful to the make-up brushes I already use. However, this make-up brush is amazing quality and super soft. This would be really great for popping into your handbag for topping up on powder throughout the day as it’s such a travel friendly size. Plus, how cute is the design?!
This is the product I was least excited about just because I’ve received mascaras in the past and they never live up to my trust holy grail mascaras. I’m not familiar with this brand and although this is a decent mascara, it just isn’t anything amazing. There are drugstore mascaras that I much prefer so I wouldn’t be paying £20 when I can get better results from a cheaper product.
Overall, this is one of my favourite boxes so far. I love almost everything apart from the slightly disappointing mascara and I’m going to get really great use out of these products.
Have you tried any of the items included in November’s box?
