The Liebster Award Tag: Round Three

It was only a couple of posts ago that I last did a Liebster Award post but I’ve been tagged for a third time by the lovely Laurie and her questions are fab so I couldn’t wait to answer them. Please go and give her blog a browse and show her posts some love. I always love doing these tags and answering lots of different, interesting questions but I also love reading other peoples’ answers – if you’d like to be tagged in a future post, please let me know! Here are the questions that Laurie asked me.

1. If you were given 1 million pounds, what would be the first thing you’d buy and why?
I’d buy my own home and do it up all nicely. I’ve spent years pinning home ideas on Pinterest and I’d love to make it all a reality. I’d just love my very own space and then I can get the pets I want as well. I think I have a little bit of a thing for interior design because I’d just love to get my hands on a big empty house and make it look amazing.

2. Where do you find inspiration for your blog posts?
I usually just think about what I enjoy reading myself as I spend a lot of time reading other people’s content. A lot of the time it’s just products I’m really enjoying that I want to recommend to everyone. For my upcoming Blogtober posts, I just sat and thought about the things that I personally like about Autumn/Halloween or what I enjoy reading about and then went from there. If I’m ever really stuck, there’s dozens of lists for post ideas either on peoples’ blogs or Pinterest. You can also browse about the latest trends or current events and see if any of that sparks some ideas.

3. If you had to listen to one song on repeat for the rest of your life, what would it be and why?
This is so tricky! I wouldn’t want to pick a great song and then end up getting sick of it. I think one song that I’ve loved for years and never get tired of is ‘Send Me On My Way’ by Rusted Root, it always makes me feel happy so I’d probably go for that.

4. Which season is your favourite?
Autumn! I don’t really deal too well with hot weather and Autumn usually has the perfect weather, especially days where it’s quite chilly but the sun is still shining – that’s my favourite weather ever. I love being able to throw on a big soft jumper and some boots, Autumn fashion is my favourite. I also love all the seasonal drinks, foods, scents, make-up looks, colours, just everything.

5. Have you ever wanted to stop blogging or restart you current blog?
I’ve only been blogging for a few months and I’ve never felt like that so far. I think restarting would be a waste of time, if you’re really not happy with your older content then you can always go back and edit it or remove anything you really don’t like. I think it’s nice to be able to look back on older posts and see how much peoples’ blogs have grown since when they first started. I imagine that I probably won’t blog for the rest of my life but it’s something that I can definitely see me doing for a very long time because I just really enjoy it.

6. What three words would you use to describe yourself?
Small, emotional, thoughtful. I’m 5ft 2 so that explains the ‘small.’ I’m a really sensitive person, I cry at the smallest things or sometimes just because I want to cry but I can also laugh until my stomach hurts over the tiniest, silliest things as well so I’m definitely full of emotions. I say thoughtful because in day to day life, I tend to keep to myself a lot and just sit in my own thoughts.

7. If you could only save one item from a house fire, what would it be?
I think I’d save my box of memories, I have a box that I put photos or souvenirs or any little things in that remind me of the past. It’s nice to look through sometimes and I like to add new things to it as well to keep creating more great memories to look back on.

8. If you could move to any country in the world, where would you go?
I think I had this question in my last tag actually – I’d move to Italy. I’ve just always been fascinated by it, there’s so many different cities that look amazing for different reasons and it’d be amazing to travel around the whole country and experience everything. Also, the food would just be incredible.

9. What are your top three books of all time?
I’m not a massive reader but I have read some really amazing books in my time, three books that have stood out for me are ‘Behind Closed Doors’ by B A Paris, ‘The Perks of Being a Wallflower’ by Stephen Chbosky and ‘Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire’ by JK Rowling. Had to throw a Harry Potter in there, naturally. Reading is something I always want to do more of though so I’m sure I’ll discover even more amazing books.

10. If you could have any job, what would it be?
I’d be performing in Les Miserables at Queen’s Theatre or playing a Disney princess at Disney World. Another cool job would be something like a wedding planner or an interior designer, I’ve always thought that either of those jobs would be really interesting and rewarding.

11. Who is your role model?
This is a tricky one because I tend to take different things from different people rather than going by just one person. A few people that I take good life lessons from are my boyfriend, my mom, my dad and various different bloggers and YouTubers that motivate me to keep working hard on my own blog. Of course it’s great to take different tips and be influenced positively by people but I think it’s important to remember your own attributes and stay true to yourself as well, that’s why I don’t specifically follow one person.

These are the questions I’ve put together to ask the people I’m tagging:

1. What’s the greatest view you’ve ever seen?
2. Would you say you’re easy or difficult to buy for?
3. What would you say you watch the most out of anything? This could be a YouTuber, a TV show, a film genre etc.
4. What’s your favourite blog post that you’ve written to date?
5. What are you looking forward to the most right now?
6. What is the absolute worst movie you’ve ever seen?
7. Are there any words you just hate the sound of?
8. What quality do you value the most in a friend?
9. What period in history do you think had the best fashion?
10. If you were given the chance to be immortal, would you take it?
11. What food are you loving the most at the moment?

And these are the lovely bloggers I’ve tagged this time around. Please take the time to go and check out all of their blogs, they all produce absolutely amazing content:

I don’t get how people can’t love Autumn, literally the nicest and cosiest season and all the Christmas excitement is brewing! I’m absolutely in love with Italy too but I don’t think I could cope with their Summer heat at all, I went in July about 5 years back and felt like I was constantly melting haha it gets so crazily hot out there!

Congratulations on being nominated lovely! That’s such exciting news! Also, I love Autumn as well! I think it’s because I adore the colder months, as well as wrapping up in coats and cute jumpers. Also I love the crunch of the Autumn leaves.

It’s such a cool ideal job! I used to want to be a Disney princess so badly! Unfortunately I don’t think I resemble any of the ones I actually like so I’d be stuck with Cinderella and I’m not sure how I’d feel wearing glass shoes! I love reading posts like these, it’s such a nice way to get to know others.

I’d definitely buy or build my own home too if I had 1 million! It would be amazing to have a proper place for blogging and maybe a small library room as I love reading. I followed you on Pinterest by the way :)x
