I’ve been looking for new clothing websites for a while now, sometimes I just seem to not be able to find anything that I like in the usual stores so I like to try something different. I came across a website called Bershka and I completely fell in love with their range. There’s so many options for different styles – there’s loads of t-shirts with cool patterns and quirky quotes which I love but there’s also some really beautiful dresses for special occasions.
There’s also a large choice of gorgeous jumpsuits and playsuits, sometimes I struggle to find ones I like but I felt so spoilt for choice when I was browsing Bershka’s website. They even sell some really cute phone and tablet cases, there’s lots of Disney themed ones which made me happy. As it’s the end of the month I’ve been trying to be good with money as I have a trip to London coming up soon so I only bought a couple of items but I thought I’d show you all what I bought. I’m always sceptical when I’m trying out new clothing websites as to whether their sizing will be accurate and whether the quality will be any good so let’s see whether Bershka are a worthwhile brand to buy from.
The first item that I bought was this ribbed high neck sweater. I recently bought a black denim pinafore from ASOS and wanted something new to wear underneath it. I tend to reach for black, white or grey clothing so I’ve been looking to splash some colour back into my wardrobe. This sweater is available in black, light pink, green and burgundy – I was going to go for burgundy as it’s a nice Autumnal shade but my size was out of stock so I chose the green one. The material is really thick and amazing quality, I’m so impressed considering it was only £12.99 so it’s extremely affordable. The colour is gorgeous and this will be so good for colder days as it provides a lot of warmth. My only complaint is that this was the largest size and it’s still a little snug on me and quite short which is okay underneath a pinafore/dungarees but might look a little odd otherwise. Overall, I’m so impressed though!
The second item I chose was this floral printed choker neck playsuit. I was originally going to buy the black version of this but as I was trying to introduce some more colour into my style, I opted for the red one. I literally can’t rave enough about this playsuit. It actually fits perfectly even though I had to opt for a size down to what I’d usually buy. The colour and pattern is stunning, it’s so flattering and super comfortable. It’s also a really versatile piece because you can dress it up with some heels and lipstick or wear it as something a little more casual with some Converse or something. This only cost me £17.99 which again is so affordable as playsuits generally tend to be priced a lot higher. Here’s a picture of me wearing the playsuit on a dinner date!
The Bershka website itself was so easy to use, everything’s categorized and there’s an ‘inspiration’ page of different outfits to give you an idea of how to style their pieces. There’s plenty of pictures for each item so that you can get a real idea of how it looks on. One thing I would like to see is clothes available from size 14 upwards, I’m usually a size 14 which is ‘XL’ in Bershka’s sizing chart but this is the highest the chart went and even then, none of the items I looked at were even available in that size so I had to order a size down and hope for the best. More of a selection for all sizes would be great as the actual clothes are gorgeous.
Their prices are very affordable and considering how lovely some of their items are, I was really impressed with the low costs as you can find similar things in other stores that are often at least double the price. The quality is honestly amazing and I really think I’m going to get such good wear out of these pieces.
